Almtal Region

Located at the foot of “Tote Gebirge” Mountain, Almtal and the villages of Grünau, Scharnstein and St. Konrad are loved by visitors of all ages!  

50 km of cross-country ski trails run through the stunning scenery of Almtal and the Almsee is the perfect place to try natural ice-skating.

Set on 60 ha, Cumberland Wildlife Park features 5 km of winter hiking trails and is a very good place to watch deer feeding in nature.

Almtal region is very proud of its several curling tracks, the toboggan run (St. Konrad) and the Konrad-Lorenz-Research Centre.

Sleigh rides and cleared hiking trails complete the offer.
